Trainer/Assessor

Ocean and Earth Training Specialists services the mining, building, civil, construction and maritime industries with accessible and relevant training solutions. Ocean and Earth Training Specialists is seeking exceptional Trainers/Assessors to join our team. You will have the opportunity to experience the splendour of regional Western Australia. The Trainer/Assessor positions that are available are below; 

  • Trainer/Assessor to deliver Certificate III Civil Construction Plant Operations
    • Based in various locations throughout Western Australia
    • 13 week full-time fixed term contract.
    • Current technical knowledge and competencies in the industrial vocation or professional field relevant to this position.
    • Ability to work with clients from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds
  • Truck Driver Trainer/Assessor
    • Based in Geraldton.
    • Casual position.
    • This position will require regular travel throughout Western Australia.
    • Minimum HR Licence.
    • Must hold Certificate IV in Heavy Vehicle Driving Instruction.
    • Hold a full, unrestricted Multi Combination Licence for more than 5 years.
  • Work Safe Trainer
    • Based in Geraldton.
    • Casual position.
    • Experienced in accessing EWP, Forklift, Dogging, Rigging, Scaffolding, and C6 Crane
  • Trainer
    • Based in Geraldton
    • Equipment training, confined space, working at heights
    • Would be desirable to hold Cert III in Civil Construction Plant Operations or part of.

Essential Criteria for all positions:

  • Certificate IV in TAE (Training and Assessment).
  • Minimum Certificate III in relevant expertise area
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills.
  • Current industry knowledge and demonstrated relevant workplace practice.
  • A strong work ethic.
  • Demonstrated cultural competency, particularly in working with Indigenous people.
  • Exceptional References

Remuneration packaging will be dependent on skills and qualifications

Commencement for these positions is mid-February to March 2018
